Jim White, Executive Director National Insulator Association

I am a native Hoosier. I am 27 years old and have a B.S. and M.A. degree from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. I am presently working for the Marion County Soil and Water Conservation District. 

In January I will begin working for the city of Indianapolis as a planner for the Division of Planning and Zoning. Besides my interest in insulators, my wife and I collect primitive furniture and other antiques. 

During graduate school while living in Muncie, Indiana, I became interested in insulators. I suppose I moved through the various phases of collecting that most collectors go through. I am presently specializing in Hemingrays. 

My wife and I have recently purchased our first house and have been learning a considerable amount about remodeling. Of course, the first item in the new house was shelving for the collection.
